Warranty Conditions

As the installers of the doors, we provide a five year warranty for the labour carried out.
Please note that batteries, bulbs, fuses, sensitivity adjustments and any other consumables are not covered under the warranty.

J Brady Garage Doors warrants all new doors, motors, and electronic components of the door to be free from defect in workmanship under normal use and service, and further warrants all installations carried out by our engineers to be free from defects and workmanship, its obligations hereunder being limited to making good any such defect provided that notice of any claimed defect in material or workmanship be given within a reasonable period from the date of installation.

J Brady Garage Doors will not be liable in respect of any defects arising from wear and tear, willful damage, negligence, abnormal working conditions, tampering with finished products or failure to follow instructions (whether in writing or verbal) including but without limitation: 

(a) electrical work external to the product.

(b) transportation or relocation of the product not by the supplier.

(c) any modification, adjustment or repair to the product made by a third party without the written consent of the supplier.

(d) the door striking an immovable object during travel.

(e) failure of electrical power, or any other cause which is not due to the neglect or the default of the supplier, its employees, agents or subcontractors.

(f) keeping the door clean of any harsh materials.

(g) The door curtain on roller doors is secured to the barrel by locking straps. Whilst every precaution is take to ensure that these leave no marks, there will be signs of marking on the inside face of the door. This is unavoidable and is simply and default symptom of the doors operation.

The buyer shall always provide routine day to day maintenance and care of the product. Annual services are advisable, starting from just £69.99 from our team of trained engineers. Should this service not be utilised, at a detriment to the door, the warranty will be deemed void.

The liability of J Brady Garage Doors shall be no more than the price of the product and/or service, except in case of death or personal injury caused by the supplier’s negligence. 

J Brady Garage Doors will deem this guarantee to be null and void if the payment is not received for this product or any services performed upon it, either in part or in full or if the door has been tampered with.

Nothing in this guarantee will reduce your statutory rights relating to faulty or miss-described goods. For further information about your statutory rights contact your local authority. 

Guarantees/Warranties are not insurance backed. Guarantees are not transferable.
